As the music landscape of today continues to evolve, adapt and transcend, the sky really is the limit, with rappers and singers partnering with all sorts of businesses and outlets to diversify their brands and flex their creativity in exciting and innovative ways.
For Miguel, his latest venture in expanding his fanbase and testing new musical waters arrives today (Oct. 27) with the release of his new single, "Remember Me (Dúo).
The track, which is a bilingual duet with Natalia Lafourcade, doubles as his Disney debut, with the new offering appearing on the official soundtrack of Coco, the new Día de Los Muertos-inspired Pixar production, which is slated to hit theaters on Nov. 22.
"Remember me, though I have to travel far," the R&B singer croons. "Remember me each time you hear a sad guitar / Know that I'm with you the only way that I can be / Until I'm in your arms again, remember me."
In celebration of Miguel's new song and the movie hitting theaters next month, the ranchero-style duet was given the official animated treatment for its accompanying music video.
Outside of his new partnership with Disney, the singer is currently readying his follow-up to 2015's Wildheart, as well as recently showed love to SZA by way of covering her smash hit, "The Weekend," to rave reviews.
