The Game

As The Game is reminding fans, the '90s will forever be a reliable era to draw inspiration from, especially when it comes to hip-hop.

For his latest, the Los Angeles native recruits the likes of Jeremih, Young Thug and Sevyn, with the song built on an instrumental crafted by Bongo the Drum Gahd.

The song, which samples Foxy Brown's 1996 classic track "Get Me Home," highlights The Game reflecting on his less-than-perfect relationships, bringing the nostalgic feel of the track up to 2017 with the raunchy line, "You mad, texting in all caps / Like I just didn't put my kids on your back."

For Thugger's verse, the Atlanta rappers chooses to keep the conflicted modern romance theme going, spitting, "I got drunk off your love and throw'd up / Poured my heart inside your double cup."

With Sevyn and Jeremih tying the song together with their impeccable vocal stylings, this just might be a solid addition to The Game's reported final album, West Side Story.

Recently, The Game broke his self-imposed hiatus from social media to refute claims he allegedly got a 15-year-old pregnant, blasting the media in his statement for spreading the false story.
