It's no secret that Chance the Rapper shows up and shows out for his hometown of Chicago. He's launched a think tank challenge to benefit the city, donated his Grammy Award to its DuSable Museum of African American History, and raised $2.2 million for its public schools system.

Now, he's partnered with Lyft to help the underfunded education system once again.

Chicago riders using the car service can round up their fare to the nearest dollar and donate the difference to New Chance: Arts & Literature Fund, the rapper's enrichment program for kids in struggling Chicago public schools.

Chano said, "Through the New Chance Arts & Literature Fund, I'm committed to giving the kids in Chicago as much as I can. And now with Lyft's Round Up & Donate, we can give them much more because the more we ride, the more we raise to bring more arts programs to Chicago Public Schools."

Earlier this week, the rapper took to Instagram to livestream a traffic stop in Chi-Town, just in case things got "out of hand."
