ANAHEIM, CA – It was Friday, September 8 and the weekend was just getting started at the iconic Angel Stadium for the 2nd Annual Day N Night Festival, presented by REVOLT. Even at 9 o'clock in the morning, excited fans were already lining the parking lot equipped with loaded fanny packs, tattered sneakers on their feet, and fully-charged phones in hand, ready to capture the unforgettable moments that were sure to take place in just a few short hours. Clearly this was not the first go-around at an epic weekend-long festival for those folks but, for some, it was. They'd be experiencing their first taste at a large buffet of musical selections, from an array of talented artists, spread across the venue's three stages.

In true festival form, we challenged a few of your faves to press their luck with a series of revealing games.

Famous Dex came through and turned us up with an impromptu freestyle while also filling us in on his go-to moves in the bedroom. Things continued to get spicy as he fully accepted our Hot Sauce Challenge, taking a full shot of Nando's Famous Extra Extra Hot.

(But Famous Dex wasn't the only one to take on our challenge. Warm Brew, Shaboozey, Young Gleesh, and a few more took on the heat like true champs.)

Speaking of champs, Compton's own Buddy hit the stage in his boxers' best to perform some his dance-worthy records for the excited crowd. It was a very special day for the rapper who was also celebrating his birthday. Backstage, Buddy told us what rapper Chuck Inglish got him as a gift right after reciting a poem about his dear friend as his Truth or Dare challenge.

As the weekend progressed, we saw many performers get up-close and personal with fans by taking that big leap towards the audience to crowd-surf. Viral sensation Matt Ox was the first to go jumping off the Night Stage multiple times. By Day Three, the crowd was so ready to expect the unexpected that when Princess Nokia leapt for "G.O.A.T.," she practically floated.

You could ask anyone in attendance who they were looking forward to seeing and it was a sure thing that they would begin listing some of the line-up's top-tier artists. Friday night saw appearances from OVO's Majid Jordan, who spoke with us about their forthcoming album Space Between. And Khalid played a round of Truth or Dare by showing off his best British accent and talking about holding on to his virginity.

However, Philly's own PnB Rock turned the conversation a complete 180 degrees by revealing his favorite sex positions and telling us a story about his old pet mule. (Disclaimer: Those are unrelated; the two DID NOT have relations.)

Travis Scott later ended his"Night Show" with an electrifying performance of his best hits, complete with giant hawk swooping above the Postmates Stage.

By Saturday, the amount of people on-site had practically doubled with everyone readying to see what was in store. After a day full of moshing, incited by performers like Rich the Kid and Playboi Carti, SZA came through to serenade the crowd with her melodic voice over tracks off of her debut album CTRL.

Things got busy over the final hours of Saturday as Vic Mensa dropped some knowledge over at the Night Stage while Kodak Black simultaneously took over the Day Stage.

At the conclusion of their sets, the crowd quickly scurried over to the Postmates stage to catch Lil Uzi Vert make his return to Day N Night for the second year, now with a No.1 album Luv is Rage 2 under his belt.

The night then concluded with an uplifting performance from Chance the Rapper who made the festival a family affair; brother Taylor Bennett hit the stage earlier that day for his very own set and both their mom and dad were in attendance watching proudly.

Sunday night saw the perfect ending to a super fun summer with Kendrick Lamar closing out the weekend with the best of his expansive catalog. It was an amazing sight to see as the audience all jumped in unison as soon as the beat dropped, filling the air with sounds of DAMN.'s top tracks.
