Cam'Ron has a talent for flipping some of the most popular earworms into street anthems.
While he has previously shown Vanessa Carlton's "A Thousand Miles" some love, for one example, the Dipset founder has recently found inspiration in Cyndi Lauper's 1983 classic single, "Time After Time."
Naturally, Cam's version is called, "Dime After Dime," with his masterful rendition following the story of a drug dealer reflecting on his early days hustling and contemplating what toll a life on the street has taken.
The reworked track, which features Sen City handling the hook, definitely does the original version some justice. Killa Cam even gave the song the proper visual treatment, with the accompanying video directed by PocketDenimRay.
The veteran rapper is currently readying his seventh solo studio album, Killa Season 2, with the project rumored to see a release sometime before 2017 concludes.
