Throughout the past couple of days, rumors have been swirling around Cardi B and Offset, with many insisting that the couple is taking their relationship to the next level.

As further fueled by Cardi B herself, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper didn't necessarily shut down rumors, even adding to the speculation on Facebook by confirming their engagement prior to deleting the post.

During the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards, naturally, the subject came up once again. This time around, Cardi took the questions and ran with them, playfully confirming that while she and the Migos rapper are not currently engaged, she's confident the happy occasion will arrive someday in their future.

"The rumors, I don't think they right, because I don't got nothing on this finger," she said, showing off her bare ring finger to MTV's cameras with a smile on her face. "But you wanna know something? When the time comes, he'll put it there."

Earlier in the conversation, Cardi also confirmed that she will be dropping her album next month, nixing her original plans to drop an EP.

With her smash single currently at the No. 3 slot on the Billboard Hot 100 and new music on the way, the Bronx spitter is just starting to ease into exactly where she wants to be in the rap and romance games alike.
