On the first of the month, Syd took to Twitter to ask, "Is it too soon to drop new music?" Turns out, no, because yesterday she announced an upcoming EP, Always Never Home (due September 8), led by two-fer track "Bad Dream/No Looking Back."

Following up that news (and that she's both been working with Kelly Rowland in the studio and has signed on to be a part of Camp Flog Gnaw), Syd has now shared that she'll be headlining her own tour.

Named after the forthcoming EP, the 22-date, two-month trek will hit North America and Canada beginning at New York's Irving Plaza in October and closing at Los Angeles' Novo in December.
