It's never too soon to drop new music — especially if you're an artist like Syd, who is fresh off dropping one of the year's slinkiest debut albums in Fin.

After asking whether it was "too soon" to drop another set of records, the singer has made up her mind, announcing a new project for the fall that is set will be "part of an upcoming feature soundtrack" titled Always Never Home. The project, as confirmed by Syd, arrives September 8.

Giving a taste of what is to come, the singer dropped "Bad Dream/No Looking Back," a tranquil appetizer that features production from Gwen Bunn and Ricci Riera. Hit play below.
