In recent years, Miley Cyrus’ albums have been like time capsules documenting her many transformations, so it’s no surprise that all eyes are on her with the forthcoming release of her album, Younger Now.

Scheduled to touch retail outlets on September 29, the “We Can't Stop” singer’s sixth solo project, has been teased with the singles “Malibu” and “Inspired”. The release date was first revealed on her website.

The 24-year old spoke to Cosmopolitan about writing one of songs expected to be featured on Younger Now’s in her sleep. “I wrote a song on my record in a dream,” she told the magazine. “I dreamt my sis Noah and I were in my car on the way to the movie, a song came on the radio and it was Noah’s FAVORITE song! She said everyone was loving it…it’s a “smash” then I said “I wish I wrote it”… I woke up… and DID!”

The former Disney Channel star, who now is a judge on the NBC hit The Voice, will be returning to the MTV VMA stage on August 27th to perform cuts from Younger Now.

Her last two albums - 2015's independent release, Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz, and the 2013 mega-success, Bangerz - were drastically different from one another. If Younger Now's singles are any indication of what to expect from the project, we can once again expect a clear departure from her previous album. Miley Cyrus has surely come a long way from her Hannah Montana days.
