Florida rapper Zoey Dollaz is on fire — better yet, sou dife.

Almost two years removed from his breakout year, which launched with a career-changing moment at the 2015 REVOLT Music Conference, Mr. "Blow A Check" has been on a fiery run that has produced a slew of mixtapes (four to be exact) and a major label deal with Epic Records under Future's FreeBandz imprint. Last week, the North Miami Beach native dropped his major label debut via M'ap Boule, a seven track EP featuring big names like Chris Brown, Future, and more.

For Zoey, born Elvis Millord, this chance is something he does not take for granted. Beyond his family, friends and fans, this laser-beam focus on making a change is also built on the love for his cultural roots — Haiti.

With that in mind, REVOLT scooped up Zoey Dollaz and grabbed some cooked food at La Soleil Restaurant in New York City, where he dug deep into his native roots and Haitian pride, which happens to be the foundation to his hunger for more.
