It's been a rough year for Kodak Black.

Last April, the rapper was arrested for leading police on a car chase. The next month, he was arrested again for various open warrants from 2015 including armed robbery, possession of cannabis, and false imprisonment. The slew of charges carried a maximum sentence of 55 years. A judge offered him one year of house arrest and five years of probation.

However, that deal was nixed when, in August, as he was expected to be released from jail after entering a plea deal at a court hearing, it was discovered that Black had two more active arrest warrants.

The rapper was then accused of sexual battery; sentenced to 120 days in a Florida County jail after pleading no contest to two misdemeanor drug charges; transferred to a South Carolina jail to face the sexual battery charges; released after posting the $100K bond; and then banned from South Carolina.

He was then arrested for violating probation upon breaking house arrest and failing to complete court-ordered anger management. While in jail, he was accused of assaulting a Miami strip club employee.

Got all that? Here's the current update.

Last week, Black appeared in court in Florida for a hearing that would determine whether he would finally be released from jail after violating his house arrest as the agreement only allowed him to leave home for pre-approved working purposes.

A decision wasn't made then as the hearing was scheduled to continue, but on Wednesday (April 26), according to the Sun Sentinel, Black was found guilty on five of six counts of violating the terms of his house arrest due to his unauthorized visit to the Miami strip club, as well as an Ohio boxing match.

The decision, however, of whether he'd face jail time, will be made during another hearing on May 4. Black will remain in custody until at least then. The state wants him sent to prison for a maximum eight years.
