The upcoming 2017 Global Spin Awards will be bigger and better.

Taking place during the 2017 All-Star Weekend in New Orleans on Thursday, February 16, 2017, the 2017 edition of the coveted award ceremony will honor GRAMMY® Award-winning DJ, producer, rapper, and writer, DJ Spinderella with the Breaking Barriers Award and legendary DJ and producer, DJ Clark Kent with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Both titans will receive a spotlight for their decades of contributions bestowed upon the evolution of the turntables, music and culture.

REVOLT.tv will exclusively air online the 2017 Global Spin Awards Nominations Special starting December 13, 2016 at 12:00pm ET/9:00am PT. Filmed during the 2016 REVOLT Music Conference and hosted by Jeezy, REVOLT hosts DJ Damage and DJ Hannah Rad, the event featured performances by Zoey Dollaz, and East Harlem rapper Dave East.
