Master P on his contribution to Solange's new album, "A Seat at the Table"

If you've listened to A Seat at the Table, the glorious album released today (September 30) by Solange, you've noticed a familiar voice throughout. Master P, one of hip-hop's first self-made moguls, serves as a narrator of sorts, dropping gems of advice in several interludes. The New Orleans native and the 504's adopted daughter joined forces for a collaboration built on mutual respect. In an exclusive interview with REVOLT, Master P told us he's proud of the Saint Heron songbird.

"I feel like she been through a lot and she been in the shadow, but you know, it's like, she still got her own presence. I'm proud of her; I think that she gonna go a long way. She's opening up a lot of doors on her own."
