Going into its seventh year, Fool's Gold Day Off has become a staple in the music community for breaking new talent and giving music lovers a real connection to emerging talent and today’s superstars.

The LA stop of the traveling concert series did not disappoint, bringing out emerging DJs Kittens and Oshi. Kittens set the tone before the hottest new kid on the block Madeintyo came out to wave the crowd up, performing his undeniable hits “I Want” and “Uber Everywhere.”

Fool's Golds' curator A-Trak hit the stage next for a monster set where he brought out surprise guest ASAP Rocky to perform “Peso.” We had the opportunity to connect with A-Trak to talk about the growth of the concert series and his progressions as a DJ. “Fool's Gold in general is what expends my reach. Fool's Gold gives me a platform where I can put on a lot of artists," he said.

After A-Trak’s set fans came to experience another memorable moment as the Kool Kids performed onstage for the first time in so many years. Sir Mickey Rocks and Chuck Inglish never missed a step, which set a great tone for G.O.O.D Music President Pusha T to command the stage, running through hit after hit and some of my personal favorites “Don’t Like,” “Millions In the Ceiling,” and “Grinding” Check it out here:

Mac Miller closed out the concert coming out to to his classic high-energy track “Loud,” before getting into his latest project The Devine Feminine. Mac’s soulful vibe ended the concert on a great note; the only thing missing was an onstage appearance from his girl Arianna Grande, who enjoyed the show backstage but in view of the the crowd.
