The theory was correct. After wiping out his entire Instagram feed this week, The Weeknd officially opens King of the Fall season by formally announcing his third studio album, STARBOY.
Taking to Instagram, the singer revealed the Nabil-shot photograph as the album's artwork and features the singer without his signature dreads. With fall literally around the corner, Weeknd promptly kicks off the new season with a new look and new album.
This all confirms the road we've been following since Weeknd announced the completion of his latest "Chapter" last spring.

Coincidentally, the title of the new album bares the same name as Nigerian singer Wizkid's's famous nickname. Reacting to the album title, Wizkid tweeted the following:
