Gucci Mane, "Waybach"

Gucci Mane - Waybach [Official Audio]

In case you’ve been living under a rock, Gucci Mane is back. So to properly usher in his return, it's only right he takes things back...excuse me, way "bach." Cleverly flipping the name of the luxury vehicle, Guwop pulls up and rolls out another Everybody Looking banger, which finds him declaring, "I'm the bestest, I'm the freshest ever stepped on the scene." Later he champions go-to hitmakers like Mike WiLL Made-It and Zaytoven, saying, "I'd rather rap a Zay track than a Dre track." Expect this to be another fitting number on the forthcoming LP, which arrives July 22.— Ralph Bristout

Lolawolf, "Teardrop" Feat. Miley Cyrus

I was a huge fan of Lolawolf's solid self-titled debut EP. And then a bit less so of their official album, Calm Down, which felt less cohesive but still had its standouts. But by the time their everyfuckinday EP dropped, I'd completely checked out because the music just no longer sounded melodic or harmonious; it was just dark and scattered and hard on the ears. "Teardrop" is a turn back in the right direction. There are still parts that send you on an eerie trip and, on first listen, there's enough unpredictable instrumentation that it can be hard to catch the beat, but Zoe Kravitz's airy vocals and Miley Cyrus' throaty delivery weave nicely in and out of one another and, when blended, are more complementary that I would've imagined.—Danielle Cheesman

Kavale, "20/20"

Toronto rapper Kavale has been consistently dropping quality tracks since the release of Genius. While his last songs, "West Drive" and "Hold On," had a chill vibe, Kavale came in swinging with his hard-hitting single "20/20." Everything from his bass-heavy instrumentals to his lyrics ("20/20 for ni—as that lack vision") are aggressive. Way to switch it up!—Erin Ashley Simon
