At 27, Allen Ritter is responsible for a chunk of the records in your pre-summer 16 playlist. Rihanna's Anti earworm, "Work"? The Yonkers native helped co-produce the dancehall-tinged hit, alongside Boi-1da and Sevn Thomas. Drake's "Controlla"? He had a hand in that contagious ballad too. Kanye West's "Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1"? He scored a credit on there, too. And chances are considering his work on Rodeo, that new Travis Scott album, Birds In the Trap Sing McKnight, is expected to feature the hit producer's musical styling as well.

But even while hits are all that's attached to his name, Ritter remains humble. "All I do is I listen, sit-down, play keys or mess around with the drums and the sounds just come to me," he told REVOLT. "Whatever I hear, however I feel, that's what I'ma play." And it is within this levelheaded poise, that has allowed Ritter to spread his wings sonically and develop a sound that has everyone calling.

Sitting with REVOLT, the talented producer breaks down his work on hits for Chris Brown, Drake, Rihanna, Travis Scott and Mr. West.
