Drake's 'Views' Spends Fourth Week At To No. 1 On Billboard 200

Views from the top of the charts is becoming the mainstay for Drake in 2016.

In addition scoring his first certified Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 this year with "One Dance," which recently reclaimed the top spot on the said chart, Drake's Views is procuring even more accolades as the album now enters its fourth consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. According to Billboard, this is the most weeks at No. 1 for an album by a male artist in over four years. The last to do so was Michael Buble with 2011's Christmas. As far as rapper goes, the last MC do pull a similar feat was Eminem in 2010 with Recovery.

Drake's 'Views': First Thoughts

As per the generated sales this past week, Views earned a total of 189,000 units, with 50,000 of that sum translating in traditional album sales. Drake's latest set has been top-rated on streaming services, owning the top four largest streaming weeks for an album ever since its massive 245.1 million streams debut back in April. The album has since picked up an additional 166.2 million streams this week.

Outside of the Drizzy chart mania, Ariana Grande scored the biggest chart debut with her third album Dangerous Woman, which debuted at No. 2 with 175,000 copies. Of that total, 129,000 were in traditional album sales. While Blake Shelton's I'm Honest rounds out the top three, Beyoncé continues to reign in the top five as Lemonade clings to No. 4 with 99,000 units. Meanwhile, Rihanna's Anti remains steady at No. 5 with 48,000 copies.
