Just like the album cover art, Drake perches over the music scene yet again as Views enjoys the No. 1 spot of the Billboard 200 for a second straight week.

Following its 1.04 million outing last week, earning a quick platinum certification, Drake’s sixth consecutive chart-topping LP remained at the top with an additional 219,000 units sold. According to Nielsen Music, 175,000 of that total was pure album sales. Despite Views’ 79 percent decline compared to its debut last week, Drake has now sold over 1.26 million copies of the new album. This is a career best for the OVO Sound captain and also the first album released in 2016 to surpass a million copies in sales.

According to Billboard, only two albums have sold more than a million this year: Views, and Adele’s 25, which was released in 2015. 25 sold 1.27 million in 2016 and that’s out of a total that now sits at 8.71 million.

The album, which arrived last weekend, debuted with 181,000 units (173,000 in pure sales).

Prince’s The Very Best of Prince rounds out the top five with an additional 77,000 copies, while further down the list at No. 7 sits Rihanna’s Anti with 48,000 sold. Prince’s Purple Rain also clings on the top 10, slipping from last week’s No. 3 position to now No. 8 with 43,000 sold. Adele, meanwhile, leaps from 10-9 with 41,000 units. The album’s quick jump benefitted from NBC’s encore presentation of Adele’s “Live In New York City” special last weekend.
