Questlove will curate the score for the upcoming romantic drama Vincent N Roxy.

Set to premiere at Tribeca Film Festival in New York next month, the feature film follows a suburban loner, played by Emile Hirsch, and a punk rocker, played by Zoë Kravitz, who fall in love but are followed by violence after they go on the run. Devil In My Ride director Gary Michael Schultz, leads the film’s premises, with also a co-star from rapper Kid Cudi as a character named Suga.

The musical direction follows Questlove’s previously scored 2014 film Top Five starring Chris Rock and Rosario Dawson. He also scored episodes of Inside Amy Schumer and continues to perform with the Roots as The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon’s house band.

In addition, Quest is also tapped into his writing skills for the release of his third book, Somethingtofoodabout: Exploring Creativity With Innovative Chefs, which will be released April 12.
