Justin Bieber’s latest album, Purpose, is a hit. But that’s stating the obvious. After replacing himself on the top spot of Billboard Hot 100 last month, with “Love Yourself” swapping places with “Sorry,” to become the 12th act in chart history to do so, the Biebs’ scored himself a new feat this month as Purpose is now certified triple platinum.

The album, which has already produced a myriad of multi-platinum singles (“What Do You Mean?” and “Sorry” at 4x platinum; “Love Yourself” at 2x platinum; “I’ll Show You” at platinum), scored an official triple platinum stamp by the RIAA for sales over three million copies.

Back in September, Bieber's frequent collaborator Jason "Poo Bear" Boyd described the hit album to Rolling Stone as the singer's "Thriller."

"It's incredible," he said. "And if I had to compare it to something, not the sound of it, but the impact and amount of songs that are undeniable."

Safe to say, Boyd wasn't wrong.
