Despite the circus atmosphere coloring much of this presidential season, at the heart of it all, this election is a referendum on an expansive slate of critical issues. So expansive, in fact, that you could ask people all night for the issue they hold most dear and not hear the same issue twice. I tested that theory on the Grammys red carpet, where theories tend to be sound.

And so it was: I asked some cultural pacesetters like Flying Lotus, BJ The Chicago Kid, the Dead Weather's Alison Mosshart, and jazz/Birdman phenom Antonio Sanchez amongst others which issue was their pet, and the list they generated was as generous as their dress. (REVOLT 2 Vote, yes, and also REVOLT 2 Couture.) There's a lot to think about this election season, and it's comforting to see our finest artists up to the task. Be comforted, below.
