Welcome to pop culture.

Relaying that message last night (February 23) was none other than Kanye West, who poured out his patented stream of consciousness, both online and live on the stage.

Rumor Report | Kanye West slams music producer Bob Ezrin
The Breakfast Club

Online, the G.O.O.D. Music maestro blasted off at a scathing review written by legendary rock producer Bob Ezrin (Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper, Kiss), who described him as "like that flasher who interrupts a critical game by running naked across the field." The end of the line finished off with, "Is that art???" Taking to Twitter, Ye snipped, "Has anybody heard of Bob Ezrin???" and later questioned Ezrin's relevance. "Bob, please never speak in public again," read one tweet. "You are everything that is wrong with the old guard," read another. Later, despite a recent promise, he referenced Ezrin's kids and said he'd "send them free Yeezys to make up for the embarrassment" of their dad.

In addition to noting that "Rock and roll was stolen... Rap was exploited," Ye's series of 140-characters length messages aimed at Ezrin also ricocheted a veiled dig at Taylor Swift. "I made Dark Fantasy and Watch the Throne in one year and wasn't nominated for either and you know who has 2 albums of the year," he wrote, referencing Swift's recent historic Album of the Year award win at the 58th annual Grammy Awards for 1989. During her acceptance speech at the ceremony, Swift threw some shade at the "Real Friends" rapper after his now infamous "Famous" lyrics that blew up and stirred headlines after its release.

And while he's stated time and time again that the "Blank Space" singer was made aware of the "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that b--ch famous" line, the rapper reiterated that fact in a separate line, yes, this one offline and on the stage, at Yo Gotti's The Art of Hustle album release party at 1OAK in Hollywood. "I called Taylor... I said, "Taylor, I talked with my wife about it, and I said, 'How do you feel about this line Taylor?'"

Ye also came at the necks of TIDAL's wave of critics, by defending Jay Z and the streaming service, which is home to The Life of Pablo. Recent reports indicated that the album helped the service double subscriptions after its Feb. 14th release. "Do you know what Hov had to go through to make music for y'all," he said, whilst standing above a DJ booth. "Y'all have Blueprint 1, but y'all act like TIDAL wack. That man fought to buy a streaming company."

Later he also felt the need to vocally address Amber Rose's infamous booty tweet. So to that, he stated, "That bi--ch ain't stick no finger in my ass, I don't play like that."
