Moogfest, the annual festival inspired by synth inventor Robert Moog, has officially announced new headliners to its 2016 lineup: Grimes and Miike Snow. UK grime artist Skepta, Health, and EMA were also tagged to the lineup today. The news follows the festivals first round of announced artists, which included GZA, Blood Orange, and Reggie Watts, at the end of last year.

Acclaimed by New York Times for its “its mom-and-pop technosophy and its insistence on immersive experiences in small, comfortable spaces,” Moogfest stands out from other festivals thanks to a distinctive format where many headlining artists not only perform in the evening, but also join conversations and lead participatory workshops during the day. The festival has also announced some of the art installations by Kyle McDonald called Wi-Fi Whisperer will allow participants to “listen to leaky data from festival-goers devices,” repurposed in the form of ambient noise and visual display.

This year the festival positioned for “future thinkers” will move from its usual homebase in Asheville, North Carolina to Durham, where it will run from May 19-22nd. Visit the official site for tickets and more information.
