Are you ready to “Be Heard”? Well, REVOLT Summit x AT&T got you! The networking event returns in 2020 with the fan-favorite performance contest where aspiring singers and rappers will have the chance to show off their chops for $10,000 and more lit prizes.

Hosted by music extraordinaire Ne-Yo, the competition officially kicks off on Tuesday (Sept. 16). Those who are interested in entering it must first register on the REVOLT Summit app. From there, they must submit a video no longer than three minutes that shows them performing either an original song or a cover to [email protected].

Once submissions are received, 25 talents will be selected by a small group of industry professionals. Those 25 contestants will then be invited to perform in one of the five virtual Be Heard semi-finals. This means that they’ll be five artists going head-to-head each week leading up to the grand finale, which goes down on Friday, Oct. 23; REVOLT Summit weekend. And then, the real competition starts…

On this day of the Be Heard finale, the last five contestants standing will duke it out for the top spot in front of music industry judges by performing an original song of their own.

For those who want to watch the showdown, we’ve got you covered because a live audience can join in virtually, as well.

Once the lucky winner is crowned, they’ll receive a $10,000 prize, as well as have a music video of theirs aired on REVOLT’s “Untapped” series, and a featured article about them on REVOLT.tv.

We don’t know about you, but this sure sounds like a great opportunity an aspiring artist won’t want to miss out on. Last year’s winner, A-Game, definitely had no complaints about the experience, which also included him being featured on past REVOLT’s digital series “Off Top.”
