As we inch closer to REVOLT Summit x AT&T, which goes down, Friday, Oct. 23 to Sunday, Oct. 25; Summit Saturdays and its featured “Road To Summit — The World Is Yours” have been doing a great job of entertaining and educating people who tune in via the REVOLT Summit app.
For those who aren’t yet aware, “Road To Summit — The World Is Yours” is a digital series that debuted on Sept. 19. In each of its five episodes, featured guests include some rising entrepreneurs, creators and artists, and follows them as they chase their dreams. Oh yeah and did we mention that this show is also co-produced by Teyana “Spike Tey” Taylor & the Aunties? Legendary.
Already three weeks into the series, we’ve highlighted some incredible women thus far. These go-getting ladies include eyewear entrepreneurs Coco and Breezy, recording artist Raja Kumari, and actress/singer Ryan Destiny.
From Coco and Breezy — who also happen to be identical twins — discussing the racism they faced growing up in suburban Minnesota and turning that into fuel to fire their passions to Raja sharing how to be unapologetically yourself no matter what, the gems dropped in these episodes have already been plentiful. Even Ryan, in the most recent segment, gave words of encouragement to those going after their dreams.
“There’s so many people that you’ll meet along the way that don’t believe in you. But, as long as you do, things will go your way at some point,” she said.
As for Raja always believing in her path, she also stated in a previous episode: “I always knew I was going to be onstage. We have every type of doctor in the family, but I think I’ve always been — not the black sheep — but the shining star.”
Be sure to continue checking out the “Road To Summit — The World Is Yours” episodes, which drop every Summit Saturday on the REVOLT Summit app, until the big event on Oct. 23 – Oct. 25.
