Drake knows how to pick gifts.

On Thursday (Aug. 12), high school basketball phenom Amari Bailey jumped onto his Instagram story to showcase a new custom OVO chain Drizzy gifted him. The pendant is a diamond-studded version of the number 10 to match Bailey’s jersey.

In one of the IG stories he posted, Bailey vibes out to some Kodak Black as he flaunts the new chain. All in a ll, it looks like he appreciates his new neckwear.

If you haven’t been paying attention, this gift could seem pretty random. But, if you have, you know that last month it was reported that Drake had been dating Bailey’s mother, Johanna Leia. The two were sported at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium during a dinner date.

In a follow-up report, TMZ reported that Leia had been dating Drizzy for a little while, and that he was acting as a sort of mentor to her son, teaching him how to deal with celebrity. Now, he’s also giving him dope gifts.

This isn’t the first time Drake has given out some impressive presents. Back in June, he gave Lil Baby a flossy Chrome Hearts Rolex watch. Like Bailey, Baby also showcased his Drizzy gift on his Instagram story.

This news arrives as Drake continues tolling away in the studio as he preps his new Certified Lover Boy album, a project he previously said would be dropping by the end of this summer. Last month, he gave fans an update on the LP.

“Album’s cooked,” Drake said on Sirius XM Radio’s Sound 42’s “Fri Yiy.” “Looking forward to delivering it to you. I hope everybody in the world is blessed. I hope everybody has their drinks, everyone’s locked in. Good vibes and good energy for this weekend.”

OVO, we aim for that head,” he continued. “We don’t aim to please. You see it. Certified Lover Boy on the way. And that’s for anyone in the way.”
