A hilarious exchange between Kevin Hart and Don Cheadle has gone viral. The latter Emmy-nominated actor was recently a guest on Hart’s Peacock talk show “Hart to Heart,” in which they discussed a wide range of topics, including generational wealth.

“… We’re very fortunate, obviously, to be able to create these opportunities for ourselves and for our kids and be in a position for the first time in my family, and probably in your family, to have a shot at whatever this generational wealth thing means,” Cheadle said around the segment’s 30-minute mark.

“… And me, you know,” he continued, “I’m 56 years old,” at which point Hart exclaimed, “Damn!”

A brief awkward pause after the moment was followed by Cheadle and Hart’s hilarious back-and-forth, which has now been viewed over 2 million times on Twitter since being posted Thursday night (Aug. 12).

“I’m sorry. I’m sorry,” Hart said soberly. “It was a thought and I blurted it out. I did not mean it that way.”

“I’m fine,” Cheadle insisted.

“Ok. Just understand I didn’t mean it the way it came out,” Hard added. “That was from a place of love. Like, ‘Damn.’”

“If we could play it back right now — those are two different ‘Damns,’” Cheadle interjected, adding, “We’ll take a poll on how you meant it.”

Hart, who is 42, kept the joke going, asking Cheadle, “Can you see without your glasses?”

“These aren’t real, Kevin. I put these on to appear smart. You might need some of these to appear smart,” the Avengers: Endgame actor hit back.

After the exchange went viral, Cheadle made it clear that it’s all love between him and Hart on Twitter.

“That [Kevin Hart] and I need to do a movie together asap!” he tweeted. “I think this is my favorite interview ever. ‘Damn.’”
