Bow Wow is ready to get back in the virtual ring with Soulja Boy. Although it’s been nearly two weeks since the rappers’ legendary Verzuz mashup, there seems to be a disagreement on who actually won the June 26 showdown. On Sunday (July 4), Soulja Boy joined Gillie Da Kid and Wallo on their “Million Dollaz Worth Of Game” podcast and claimed he was the battle’s victor.
“I ain’t never seen one person that said Bow Wow won. I didn’t see it. I was looking at the whole Twitter, all I saw was my name,” Big Draco said. “I saw blogs say that he won, but you know, they got labels that’ll pay them. They will pay Billboard to put an article out.”
Now, Bow has responded and teased that a Verzuz Part 2 may be necessary.
“Verzuz been over,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “I don’t know what they putting in that lemonade of yours but it got you a tad bit delusional. Love you little brother let’s just get ready for [the] tour.”
“Bro it’s ok to lose to your big bro. That’s what’s suppose to happen,” he continued, adding, “We can run it back if you want.”
Soulja responded with laughing emojis, so it’s unclear if a second round will take place. However, the best platform for another battle might be on the stage, as the “Marco Polo” rappers are set to go on tour together later this year. The long-awaited “Millennium Tour” will also feature Ashanti, Omarion, Lloyd, Sammie, Pretty Ricky, the Ying Yang Twins and more.
“We got unfinished business to handle,” Bow previously wrote on Instagram promoting the tour. “#Millenniumtour2021 Starring: Bow Wow & Omarion. With special guest Ashanti and more… get your tickets now! (1st arena tour to roll out since the pandemic) WE OWE YOU GUYS. This what you been waiting on… let’s go! We back outside!!!!!”
