The Ghost is all set to pull up with a new album.
Earlier today (July 5), ItsTheReal announced that Styles P’s new album, which is titled Ghosting, is dropping this Friday. They also announced that they’ll have a skit with Styles on the LP and that a new episode of their movie review series, “2 Jews and 2 Black Dudes Review the Movies,” one that features themselves, Sheek Louch and Styles, is coming soon. In a tweet of his own, Styles confirmed the news.
The new album will be a follow-up to Styles’ 2020 effort, Styles David: Ghost Your Enthusiasm, a project rich with dynamic rhymes, tight flows and OG bars about substantive wealth. Considering it’s been just over a year since then, Styles hasn’t kept his fans waiting for too long, so that’s something to be grateful for. The fact that Styles is still as sharp as he was 20 years ago is another reason to be thankful.
This news arrives a few weeks after Styles offered up his take on just who holds the mantle of the greatest rapper ever. Speaking on the “Bigface Gary Show,” he unsurprisingly listed The Notorious B.I.G. as the G.O.A.T.
“Biggie is the greatest MC that has ever existed,” he said at the time. He also made time to speak on just how dope Biggie’s Life After Death album was.
Styles P has a new album called ‘Ghosting” dropping this Friday.
“Big’s second album was global. Do you understand what I’m sayin’?” Styles asked. “Global. That was a different — he hit a different chamber and level to even have the audacity to say my second one is gonna be my second and third one.”
Having collaborated with Biggie at the peak of the Brooklyn rapper’s powers, Styles P is someone who’s got a good idea B.I.G.’s capabilities as an all-around artist. Over the course of his career, Styles has also showcased his own, and he’ll continue to do so when Ghosting drops this Friday. Check out the tweet announcing Styles P’s new album for yourself below.
