The title of Pop Smoke’s second posthumous album has been revealed. On Sunday (July 11), Steven Victor, head of Pop’s label home Victor Victor Worldwide, took to Twitter to share the name of the project. “Pop Smoke” FAITH July 16, 2021,” Victor tweeted. On his Instagram, he confirmed in the caption that the tweet refers to the “album title.” Initial reports stated the album would be named “Pop Smoke” based off Apple Music’s preorder page for the project.

Pop Smoke’s team has also taken promotion for his second posthumous album to new levels. While plastering the streets with posters is an old-school form of marketing, incorporating QR codes is a newer tactic.

Several Instagram accounts have discovered snippets — directly from Pop Smoke’s album — hidden within posters in New York City and Los Angeles. Fans have found that by aiming your cell phone’s camera at the poster, it unlocks a visual experience complete with Pop’s new music on your phone. One of the songs reportedly being previewed is the highly-anticipated track “Demeanor.” Not many details have been shared regarding the album. In mid-June, Pop’s manager Rico Beats revealed via Instagram that Pop’s upcoming effort was “95 [percent]” complete.

“Pop Album 95 [percent] loading the f$&k up,” he captioned a photoshopped image of Scottie Pippen, Michael Jordan and coach Phil Jackson. Victor confirmed the news and mentioned there would be an official announcement about the album within “the next 24 [to] 30 [hours].” More than a week later, Victor followed-up with another IG post containing the July 16 release date of Pop’s forthcoming album.

FAITH is set to feature 17 tracks including a 30-second “Outro,” which is the only part of the project fans can currently listen to on Apple Music. Within the “Outro,” Pop delivers a motivational speech about staying focused. “That’s why we try to tell the young niggas like, stay focused, you understand? You know what I’m saying, keep your mind straight on the prize. Don’t let nothin’ get in between, you know what I’m saying? Gotta focus up. Gotta be fully focused,” Pop says.

In addition to the album being placed on Apple Music, on Thursday (July 8), Dua Lipa teased a possible collaboration with the Brooklyn-bred drill rapper in an IG video. Within the clip, Pop bops to her song “One Kiss.” “YOU CAN’T SAY POP WITHOUT SMOKE – 16 JULY,” Lipa wrote in the caption.
