Travis Scott is down to hit the stage with SZA to perform their 2017 hit “Love Galore.”
On Thursday (June 3), SZA took to Twitter to ask her followers for help with trying to reunite with the Houston rapper. “Can somebody ask Travis to perform ‘Love Galore’ w me one last time for old times sake,” she tweeted. “Ion got his number lol.”
Travis received the Ctrl singer’s message and said that he was down to perform with her. “Of courseeeee,” he tweeted. “1 last time, a couple more times!!!! When and where? We got the fest coming soon ‘Love Galore’ and ‘Good Dayzzzz.’”
SZA then replied that she was down to perform at his upcoming Astroworld Festival. “AAHHH PERIADDD!!!” she wrote. “Count me INN for the fest for all the things!!! I BEEN wanted to play Astro! Iss WAY PAST time!”
Travis first announced the return of his annual Astroworld Festival in April after the Houston event was called off last year due to the Coronavirus pandemic. “NOVEMBER COME WON’T YOU POP OUT AT THE FEST!!! THIRD ANNUAL,” he wrote. Astroworld is set to take place on Nov. 5 and Nov. 6.
On May 5, the tickets, which started at $300 for the two-day festival, went on sale and were sold out within an hour — even without the lineup being released.
One fan tweeted Travis that he was able to get tickets for himself, but his friend was unable to catch a pass for the Nov. 6 date. “I got my tickets!!! But my boy…didn’t get a chance to cop a 2 day GA pass to Astroworld fest! Can you help a brother out? when will the next tickets come available?” the fan wrote, to which the Houston emcee replied, “Tell your bro to tweet me and I got him.”
