YouTubers-turned-boxers Jake and Logan Paul have been making headlines for weeks and now The Game wants a piece of the action. On Sunday (May 16), the Compton rapper challenged the brothers to a fight against him and his own brother, Big Fase 100.
“Yerrr, [Jake Paul] [Logan Paul] …. meet me & my little brother downtown LA in front of [the] Staples Center and let’s just fight head up fades…. no gloves, no money needed…. just on some me & my brother will fuck you & your brother up shit!!!!” he wrote on Twitter.
Jake apparently took note of the challenge and responded in his own tweet.
“Hate it or love it you would get knocked the fucked out,” he wrote, referring to The Game’s 2005 hit, “Hate It or Love It.”
It’s unclear what prompted The Game’s challenge, besides the fact that Logan is currently gearing up to fight undefeated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather. After being postponed earlier this year, Logan and Mayweather’s exhibition was rescheduled to June 6 in Miami, Florida.
Logan’s brother Jake was recently brought into the mix, though, when he grabbed Mayweather’s hat in front of reporters at the Hard Rock Stadium. The stunt caused a full-on brawl to break out between the pair and Mayweather’s bodyguards.
“I didn’t think it was gonna go that viral. I thought it was gonna be like, ‘This is funny, Jake Paul is an immature little kid’… which, by the way, that’s what I was going for,” Jake said in an interview after the incident.
“… One of his security guards had my shirt wrapped around his hand and so I couldn’t get away,” he continued. “[Mayweather] just comes running at me and he’s throwing punches over the security guard and I’m literally just like, ‘Oh wow, this is crazy.’”
