Kodak Black wants people to give him credit for inventing the money spread.

On Monday (March 8), the “No Flockin’” emcee took to Instagram to call out Lil Baby over his lyrics on Lil Durk’s “Finesse Out The Gang Way” track. In the song, the “Emotionally Scarred” rapper says he invented posting money on Instagram.

“I was just listening to my boy Lil Baby’s song,” Kodak said. “He was on my dawg Lil Durk’s song. He said, ‘Posting money on the ‘Gram, I invented that’ or some crazy shit like that. Stop playing Lil Baby. This was in 2016. Spread game too nasty.” Kodak then showed an old video of himself spreading money across his arm and leg.

The Florida native then clarified his comments and said that he was not dissing Lil Baby or being petty, but he wants his “respect.”

“Before y’all think a nigga being petty, I don’t give a fuck about none of this shit, man,” he said. “I ain’t married to none of these anthems. This shit ain’t about nothing. I’m really just putting this shit out there. Y’all let me have my shit, man. Y’all know y’all fucked up about me. Y’all know I’m a big influence to you niggas. Y’all like putting the respect on my shit.”

Aside from Kodak wanting people to put some “respeck” on his name, he announced to his fans that he has new music on the way. “There’s new music coming,” he said. “I’m on your bumper bitch to the death.” Since being pardoned by Former President Donald Trump, Kodak has released a few new tracks, including “Every Balmain” and “Last Day In.”

Last week, REVOLT reported that a federal judge granted the Dying To Live emcee the ability to travel for work, however, he must stay out of trouble and give his probation officer a list of locations he will stay during his trip, along with a full itinerary.
