With his final album on the way, Bow Wow is making plans for his post-rap career. On Monday (Feb. 8), the 33-year-old star surprised fans by announcing his intentions to join WWE. In a tweet, Bow explained that pro wrestling has been a “life-long childhood dream” of his and said he also plans to shift his focus to the television and film industry.

“Now I know this might sound crazy… BUT… after I drop my last album, I will focus on TV and film. And joining the [WWE],” he wrote.

“… It’s been a life-long childhood dream to wrestle in the WWE!!!!” he added.

To show fans he was serious, Bow also tweeted at professional wrestler Rey Mysterio in the hopes of teaming up with him for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship.

“Me and [Rey Mysterio] vs whoever [WWE] for the tag team titles,” he teased.

However, before he goes pro, Bow is expected to release his seventh studio album, Before 30. Last month, the “Like You” rapper discussed the project on Hot 97’s “Ebro in the Morning.”

“It’s gon’ be the last one and it’s gon’ be called Before 30,” he revealed. “I’ma have Snoop [Dogg] narrate the whole thing. It’s a different project.”

Bow also explained why he chose to name the 10-track project Before 30.

“… Everything that I’ve accomplished, I’ve seen it before 30,” he said. “… At this phase in my career, I’m finally getting my roses and everybody is considering me to be somewhat of a GOAT from my time period and [a] legend and all of this.”

“For me to show cats that I didn’t have to drop a single in eight years and do no music and I’m back in these arenas that Drizzy is selling out, [that] all these guys [are] in, and it’s $20,000 a night… It’s ridiculous. It’s unheard of,” he added.
