Kodak Black wants to go back to school and expand his knowledge. The rapper announced that he will be going to college to further his education.
“I’m about to go to college real soon and y’all gon see that.. ya know what I’m saying,” he said during a recent Instagram Live session. “Like what street niggas y’all know who made millions of dollars go back to college.”
“I mean I ain’t never been to college but I got my GED when I was in prison and shit like that,” he continued. “But like actually tryna further they education…. I ain’t tryna be out here on no crazy shit. The fuck.” There’s no word on what school the “Roll in Peace” star would be interested in attending.
Kodak’s desire to pursue higher education does not come as a surprise to his fans. After passing his GED test in 2018, the rapper announced that he received his high school diploma but revealed that he was “yearning for more.”
Similarly, Boosie, who also earned his GED behind bars, also plans to go to college, specifically to Mississippi’s Jackson State University.
“I’ve been coming to Jackson since I was 14, and I love y’all,” he told some of the students at JSU. “Y’all love my stanky drawers, and I love y’all back. And I just wanted to tell y’all that y’all always been supportive of me, and it’s a big secret I wasn’t going to let it out, but I’m enrolling in Jackson State next semester.”
His goal, he explained, is to learn more and once again experience the feeling of being normal. “I want to see how it feels to walk around campus, talk to girls with a book sack on,” said Boosie. “I want to feel normal. I miss that part of my life. So I wanna enroll and be able to walk down the thing and go to class and try my brain cause I still have matter up there that needs to be explored.”
