Megan Thee Stallion is preparing to add college graduate to her growing list of accomplishments. On Monday (Oct. 25), the “Body” emcee updated fans on the latest step of her collegiate career.
“2021 finna graduate collegeeee,” she penned in a tweet. “Taking my graduation pics today. I can’t wait for y’all to see,” she wrote. Next to her caption, she posed, giving fans a glimpse of her graduation cap, which was decorated with none other than her “Real Hot Girl Shit” slogan.
Meg started college at Prairie View A&M University but is currently studying health care administration as a part-time student at Texas Southern University.
While snagging Grammys, Billboard hits and collaborations with the likes of Cardi B and Beyoncé, the Fever star has provided fans with sporadic updates about the status of her undergraduate journey, which she’s continued with hopes to make her late mother and grandmother proud.
Back in February, when confronting a troll who expressed happiness over false beliefs that Meg chose rapping over health care, the Houston emcee intervened with a correction: “Mam I’m ab[ou]t to graduate in the fall and still gone open my facility,” she tweeted. “They swore I wasn’t gone get that degree,” she said in a follow-up. “SIKE.”
Months later, the star used her rocky and chaotic experience as motivation for anyone with a desire to obtain a college education. “My college experience has been a roller coaster!” she tweeted in July. “I started at PV went to some community colleges in between, and I’m ending at TSU. Don’t get discouraged! You can chase your dreams and your education at the same time.”
According to the TSU website, fall commencement will take place on Dec. 11. Per a previous tweet, Meg would love it if some of her hotties could attend the graduation ceremony.
