A$AP Rocky’s debut mixtape LIVE.LOVE.A$AP will reportedly be added to streaming services before the month is over. HighSnobiety reports that the 16-track mixtape is being released on streaming platforms to commemorate its ten-year anniversary.

Armed with the hit singles “Purple Swag” and “Peso,” Rocky, and the A$AP Mob, burst onto the hip hop scene in 2011 ushering in a new style of New York rap. The mixtape was laced with several southern-sounding songs and Rocky’s voice was screwed on several of them. The New York Times called him a New York rapper with a hint of elsewhere. He told the publication that he would shed tears if native New Yorkers gave him his props “because New York is stubborn and arrogant.”

The Harlem-bred rapper also told Billboard, at the time, that his first mixtape was “better than a lot of people’s albums.” LIVE.LOVE.A$AP undeniably helped introduce the world to Rocky and his A$AP Mob collective. The trippy “Purple Swag” music video and his burgeoning, jiggy reputation in New York City helped Rocky land a $3 million record deal with RCA-distributed Polo Grounds Music.

It was released on Oct. 31 and featured producers Clams Casino, A$AP Ty Beats, SpaceGhostPurrp, DJ Burn One, and The Olympicks, among others. Schoolboy Q, Fat Tony, A$AP Twelvyy, ASAP Nas, and A$AP Ferg appeared on the project as features.

Rocky’s LIVE.LOVE.A$AP will become the latest mixtape to be re-released on streaming services. It can be difficult for artists to put their music on platforms like Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, and others because of sample clearances. However, in recent years, more artists have found ways to get their projects posted on the aforementioned streaming services.

Earlier this year, Nicki Minaj re-released her 2009 mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty, and added three new songs for good measure. Drake celebrated the tenth anniversary of So Far Gone by adding it to streaming services, and Mac Miller’s Faces was re-released on Oct. 15. LIVE.LOVE.A$AP is slated to show up on streaming platforms on Oct. 29th.
