SZA fans who are awaiting her sophomore album may find joy in knowing she has a few scheduled shows on the way. On Thursday (Oct. 14), the TDE star took to social media to inform fans of “Good Days 2021” — a series of intimate performances that are slated to take place next month.
Per the post, the shows will kick off in Houston, Texas on Nov. 3 and will hit Austin; Dallas; Denver, Colorado and Utah’s Salt Lake City before wrapping up in Las Vegas on Nov. 14. Though the ad appears to be the announcement of a mini-tour, SZA prefers not to refer to it as one.
In the accompanying caption, she wrote, “Uhhh Iss not a tour, but I WILL be singing songs in multiple cities at night time lmao. COME.”
Since releasing her debut album CTRL in 2017 , the “Hit Different” singer has been teasing fans with sporadic releases of singles like “Good Days” and most recently, “Nightbird,” “I Hate You,” and “Joni,” which were uploaded to her Soundcloud back in August.
She’s also teamed up with James Blake for his single “Coming Back,” appeared on the remix to Kalu Uchis’ “Fue Mejor,” and released the song and visual for “The Anonymous Ones,” which will be featured on the soundtrack for Dear Evan Hansen, a musical based on a play of the same name.
Earlier this month, when asked if she planned on dropping her album in November alongside Summer Walker, SZA responded while confirming that she will be on the Still Over It project. “I jus wanna know y y’all think I would drop same time as summer and I’m ON her album,” she penned in a tweet. “Like wut?”
Presale for the “Good Days” shows starts today (Oct. 14); general tickets will be available tomorrow (Oct. 15).
