Today has been a whirlwind and it’s only continuing to get worse from the looks of things on social media. Unless you’ve just now woken up or rose from the rock you’ve been under all day, Trump supporters have gone rogue and stormed the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. ahead of Congress officially certifying President-elect Joe Biden’s presidential victory, an event that was supposed to take place this afternoon. Whether that will still happen, only time will time…
Nevertheless, these fans of the almost-out president not only stormed past the government building’s barricades, but have actually entered into it. Some have even stood on the Congress floor and chanted phrases such as, “Trump won the election!” We all know this statement to not be factual. However, Trump has stated time and time again that he was a victim of cheating in the 2020 presidential election, and that he was, in fact, the winner instead of Biden, but governmental officials aren’t counting all of his votes accurately.
In his own famous words: Fake news.
Now today, he’s decided to react to his supporters causing chaos in the Capitol with a few tweets from his Twitter account. In the first one, he says, “Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify. USA demands the truth!”
Many people were wondering if this message was a sort of condonement. But, Trump then continued to tell his supporters that they should stop with the violence immediately. “Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement. They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!” his second twitter said, which was followed by his third: “I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order – respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!”

After these tweets, Trump also posted a video message. See that below… if you want.
