Jeezy has a few things on his mind that he deems “worth a conversation.”
Today (Sept. 28), on his 43rd birthday, the businessman, who has been vocal about his thoughts on President Donald Trump, revealed he’s adding talk show host to his resume and launching a weekly show on FOX Soul where he and his guests will chat about various topics ranging from politics to entertainment.
“Happy G Day To Me. Another year, another endeavor,” he penned in an Instagram post. “It has been my passion and my drive to inspire, motivate and educate my culture. Every song I’ve ever written, every word I’ve uttered came from a real place, and this is no different. ‘Worth A Conversation ’ is self explanatory.”
“I will talk about issues that directly affect my culture and its people,” he continued. “From the front porch conversations to real-life situations, “Worth A Conversation ” is bridging the gap. My own show [is] starting Oct 14th 7pm PST 10 p.m. EST. I’m excited to be a part of the FOX Soul family and can’t wait to introduce you to Jay ‘Jeezy’ Jenkins.”
“Worth A Conversation” comes nearly two years after Jeezy announced he was retiring from music. “As the Cold Summer tour comes to a end, it was inspiring seeing my day one fans since my first album & class TM 101 come out every night,” he wrote on Twitter ahead of the release of Thug Motivation 104:The Legend of the Snowman. “Now class is coming to a[n] end. It’s time for Graduation! My Last Album & Final Class: TM104 -#TrustYaProcess.”
Earlier this year, he made a triumphant return when he surprised fans with his album Twenty/20 Pyrex Vision. Now, he’s taking on the talk show business.
