The daughter of former Three 6 Mafia rapper Crunchy Black has passed away. According to reports, 26-year-old Ashley Richardson was one of two victims found dead outside of a hotel in Southeast Memphis after a shooting. WMC5 Memphis reports that the shooting took place on Friday (Aug. 28) around 3 p.m.

Richardson and an unidentified man — who is reportedly her boyfriend — were found dead at the scene with gunshot wounds. Police blocked off the area shortly after with yellow crime tape. WREG reports that Richardson and the man were fatally shot while sitting inside their car parked near the hotel.

Police have not issued a public statement yet about Richardson’s death, but a representative for Da Mafia 6ix did confirm that she passed away to HipHopDX. Neither Crunchy nor fellow Three 6 Mafia member DJ Paul have commented publicly on the tragedy. Juicy J, however, did pay his respects to Crunchy’s loss on Twitter.

“My condolences to you & your family,” Juicy captioned a photo of Crunchy and his family on Saturday (Aug. 29). “RIP Ashley Richardson.”

Crunchy departed from the Academy Award-winning hip hop group back in 2006 over monetary disputes. He released his first solo album — On My Own — later that year.

“I felt like they was doing a lot of sh*t that I didn’t feel like was cool at the time but like I said, could’ve just been me,” Crunchy previously told DJ Vlad about the group’s falling out. “I could’ve talked it out. Me and Paul was real cool. I could’ve pulled Paul to the side and talked to him about it. But I didn’t do that. I did what a lot of people do. Let they mind take control.”
