Lil Uzi Vert is set to hit the stage in what would be his first live performance since he dropped Eternal Atake. The ticketed virtual event is set to take place on Aug. 27 at 6 pm EST/ 3 pm PT. Tickets are now available for $15 each and will come with a unique code for fans to have access to the show.
Earlier this month, Uzi celebrated his 26th birthday by dropping two collaborative singles with Future. Both artists have collaborated several times in the past on songs such as “All Bad,” “Wassup,” DJ ESCO’s “Too Much Sauce” and A$AP Ferg’s “New Level (Remix).”
Back in March, Uzi made Billboard history by becoming the only artist to chart every song from two full projects on the Hot 100 in back-to-back weeks. Eternal Atake beat out sales for Jhene Aiko’s Chilombo and Megan Thee Stallion’s Suga, which were both also released on Mar. 6. The album’s No. 1 debut marked Uzi’s second album to debut at the Billboard 200’s top spot. He also tied Lil Wayne for the second-most simultaneous Hot 100 entries in history, with 22 entries in one week.
The “XO Tour Llif3” emcee is also working on a new project. Just weeks after dropping Eternal Atake’s deluxe album, he took to Twitter to tease new music. He said a new album was “coming soon.”
One Twitter user asked Uzi if the project would have the same “energy” as “old Uzi music.” Uzi responded by writing, “Yes I had 2 get my feet wet again if you [hear] my new features I’m back on my sh*t.” He also added on Twitter that he’s feeling “very thankful right now” and “excited” about the new project.
