The Weeknd is supporting those who were affected by the Beirut explosion, which took place on Aug. 4 and killed at least 171 people and injured thousands more.

Wassim Slaiby, manager for the “I Feel It Coming” singer, revealed the news about the generous donation to Global Aid for Lebanon in an Instagram post.

“I am so honored and humbled to work with artists who have such deep care for the world and right now for our brothers and sisters of Lebanon who are in pain and need our collective help,” Slaiby wrote. “I want to thank my brother @theweeknd for his generous and class act of donating $300,000 to the Global Aid for Lebanon campaign.”

Slaiby and his wife, who were both born in Lebanon, donated $250,000 to the victims. Live Nation also gave $50,000 to the fund.

This isn’t the first time the After Hours singer offered to support a good cause. Back in June, he donated $500,000 to several organizations supporting racial equality.

“Keep supporting our brothers and sisters out there risking everything to push for actual change for our black lives,” he wrote on Instagram. “Urging everyone with big pockets to give and give big and if you have less please give what you can even if it’s a small amount. #blacklivesmatter.”

He presented $200,000 to the Black Lives Matter Global Network, $200,000 to Colin Kaepernick’s Know Your Rights campaign and $100,000 to the National Bail Out Fund, which supplies bail money for protesters who have been arrested. The Weeknd also shared a link to Kaepernick’s campaign and the National Bail Out Fund on his Instagram Story to encourage his followers to donate.

The Weeknd also gave $1 million to COVID-19 relief. Out of the funds, $500,000 went to MusiCares, which is providing financial support to recording artists during the pandemic, and the other $500,000 went to the Scarborough Health Network, which is combatting Coronavirus in his hometown.
