Fat Joe is joining the REVOLT Media & TV family and it’s about to go all the way up! Beginning tonight, Aug. 11, every Tuesday, the channel will be airing the rapper’s new quarantine-friendly series titled “The Fat Joe Show” at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
While everyone had no choice but to remain indoors due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the stay-at-home orders that resulted from it, Joe was busy working and transforming into “Joeprah,” as he invited a number of his famous friends to chat with him via Instagram Live about all things current events and hip hop culture. From Diddy, Ashanti, Stephen A. Smith, Charlamagne Tha God, Snoop Dogg and so many more; the conversations were just what to the doctor ordered while we stayed clear of The Rona.
“REVOLT is a place for us to see ourselves, as well as, a home for artists, creators and influencers to have a platform for their content to live unfiltered,” said Detavio Samuels, COO and co-head of REVOLT. “We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Fat Joe, and the big cultural moments his interviews are known for creating, to the network.”
The Bronx rapper, himself, added: “It’s exciting what Puff is doing with REVOLT and giving a platform to creators and artists. It’s time for the biggest show to be on the biggest network. And I’m proud to partner with Puff and REVOLT.”
This wouldn’t be the first time Joe was welcomed to work with REVOLT with open arms. At REVOLT Summit Los Angeles in 2019, he was featured on the “Leading the Latin Culture” panel and discussed the importance of the Latinx people in hip hop.
Joe was also recently a guest on “Drink Champs.” “I don’t know who wanna battle Eminem,” Joe said while on the show in regards to a Verzuz battle with Slim Shady. “I don’t think nobody can f**k with Eminem. DMX got the biggest hits in the world, one of the greatest rappers of all time. Legendary, iconic, superhero. And everything I’m saying is understating him, he’s bigger than that. But, there’s something about that white boy and his fans — nah bro, you want to see something cracking the internet? That n**ga David Koresh, that n**ga different!”
Be sure to watch the premiere of “The Fat Joe Show” tonight on REVOLT!
