Travis Scott and LeBron James have teamed up to create a T-shirt to commemorate the Class of 2020 after their school year was cut short due to COVID-19.
“Class of 2020, I told you we were going to make graduation special,” James wrote in an Instagram post. “Creative genius, hip hop legend and game-changing fashion designer @travisscott has personally designed the Class of 2020 Grad shirt for all of you! This is a collaboration between our teams, @uninterrupted and @cactusjack, to give you something special to mark this incredible accomplishment.”
The T-shirt features an image of earth surrounded by human figures holding hands. It also features a copy of the handwritten message, “We’re all in this together.” You can purchase the shirt during the three-day sale starting today (May 15) until Sunday (May 18).
Tomorrow (May 16), James’ one-hour event, “Graduate Together: America Honors the High School Class of 2020,” is set to air. The live-stream will debut on multiple networks such as ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC. The show will also be available for streaming on Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, PeopleTV and Complex Networks.
Yara Shahidi, H.E.R., YBN Cordae, Chika, Pharrell Williams, Ben Platt, Lena Waithe, Megan Rapinoe, The Jonas Brother, Bad Bunny, Malala Yousafzai, Loren Gray, Brandan Bmike Odums and more will join James for the virtual festivities.
The graduation ceremony will also benefit kids, teens and their families in disadvantaged communities who have been most affected by the school closures. Students, families and educators can use the hashtag #GraduateTogether for a chance to have their own videos and photos included in the telecast.
All net proceeds for the Class of 2020 shirt will be donated to Feeding Texas and the LeBron James Family Foundation. To purchase the shirt, visit shop.travisscott.com. Check out James’ Instagram post below.
