Young M.A is planning to release her new upcoming project titled Red Flu.

The “OOOUUU” rapper announced the news on Instagram. She shared a photo of the EP cover, which features an image of herself wearing all red. She captioned the post, “Y’all ready?? 🤧🤒 DROP ANY RED EMOJI!”

The release date for the forthcoming project has not been announced and details surrounding the EP are scarce at the moment.

Young M.A recently celebrated her singles, “PETTYWAP” and “BIG,” becoming certified gold. Her hit track “OOOUUU” also went four-times platinum.

In an Instagram post she wrote, “‘BIG’ and ‘PETTYWAP’ is officially Gold! 📀! ‘OOOUUU’ just hit 4x platinum! 💿💿💿💿! It’s a Good Friday! Thank God first and Of course, I wanna thank y’all the MAB for always supporting me! Independent and winning! Thank You again! I got something special coming soon for y’all stay tuned! Stay safe! Stay blessed! Stay home!”

Red Flu will be a follow-up to M.A’s 2019 debut album, Herstory In The Making. So far this year, she has dropped her “2020 Vision” single, video for her song, “She Like I’m Like” and was the only female rapper to be featured on Eminem’s album, Music To Be Murdered By.

Aside from music, the New York native spoke to XXL about how she’s remained healthy during COVID-19.

“I definitely have been working out since quarantine and even before,” she said. “Cardio is my go-to workout technique. [It] keeps me leveled physically and also mentally. [As] far as food, I’ve been eating a lot of cooked meals. No outside food, no fast food… plus I drink water all day. No juice, no soda… I’ve been drinking hot green tea with ginger, apple cider vinegar and the Emergen-C powder. Constantly building my immune system.”
