G-Eazy is giving back to his Bay Area community amidst the Coronavirus pandemic. The “No Limit” rapper and his Endless Summer Fund have teamed up with the Larkin Street Youth Services organization to supply free lunches to at-risk youths living in the San Francisco area. The initiative will provide meals to kids every day for the next month, while San Franciscans continue to shelter-in-place.

“The Bay is my home and I want to help and support my community however I can, which is why I am partnering with Larkin Street Youth Services to provide meals to kids during this crisis,” he said in a statement. “We are all in this together and I hope others will join me in supporting our communities however they can.”

Teaming up with Larkin, G-Eazy will also be funding the Mi Morena food truck, which will deliver lunches to those who can’t easily access meals at the Larkin Street Youth Services sites.

According to a press release, “the food truck will provide lunch seven days a week for the next month, the duration of the shelter-in-place order.”

Bay Area nonprofit La Cocina, which aims to promote business ownership equity for women and people of color, will reportedly provide a fully equipped commercial kitchen for the Mi Morena food truck to use for meal preparation.

According to the Endless Summer Fund website, the organization was “created to give back to the Bay Area community that raised” G-Eazy. Furthermore, “the fund is focused on supporting local organizations working with homeless/LGBTQ youth populations.”

G-Eazy is the latest of many hip hop celebrities who have offered a helping hand amidst the Coronavirus crisis. Rihanna, Ciara and her husband Russell Wilson, Kodak Black and others have made donations that have included funds, equipment, resources, meals and school supplies, while the novel Coronavirus continues to rage throughout the US.
