Get your hottest bars ready because Netflix’s “Rhythm + Flow” will be returning for a second season in 2021. T.I., one of the show’s original judges, announced the news on Twitter today (Mar. 24).
“Excited to announce that @rhythmflow will back for Season 2!!!” he tweeted. “Things aren’t easy right now, so let’s show the world some love. Flex your talent by dropping your audition below and make sure you go to http://RhythmAndFlow.com to officially submit – we want to see you on S2!!!”
T.I. will return for season two as a judge. Cardi B and Chance The Rapper will reportedly also return as judges. The show originally launched in Oct. 2019 as Netflix’s first music competition show. Jadakiss, Quavo, Killer Mike, Anderson .Paak, Snoop Dogg, Big Boi, Royce Da 5’9”, Lupe Fiasco, Fat Joe and others made appearances on the first season of the show.
D Smoke won the judges over in season one. His debut album Black Habits dropped in February. “The beauty of what happened on Netflix was that I wasn’t counting on it,” he said of the victory. “That experience really brought out the best of me. I’m one of those people who executes under pressure.”
