In compliance with Coronavirus social distancing efforts, Alicia Keys has postponed her upcoming book tour and her next album, ALICIA. The self-titled LP was slated to drop today (March 20). However, Keys’ book More Myself: A Journey is still scheduled to arrive on March 31.

The Grammy Award winner took to Instagram to announce the news on Thursday (March 19).

“My Beautiful Fam, ⁣⁣I wanted to officially tell you the #MoreMyself Tour & my new album #ALICIA will be postponed. (Good Note: More Myself book will still be available on 3/31),” she wrote. “⁣⁣Everyone’s health and safety is the #1 priority! Thank you for your deep love and support, I’ll let you know about new dates as soon as possible. Stay positive! Stay powerful! Keep your frequency high and be kind to one another. I adore u.”

Keys has previously shared three singles from the album, including “Time Machine,” “Underdog” and the Miguel-assisted “Show Me Love.” ALICIA will be the singer’s seventh studio album and serve as a follow-up to 2016’s HERE. Although Keys hasn’t announced an official new release date, fans have noted that Apple Music now lists ALICIA to be expected on May 15.

Keys is also scheduled to support the album with her “Alicia The World Tour,” her first tour in seven years, kicking off this June. So far, it’s unclear whether or not the tour will also be postponed.

Keys first opened up about her self-titled album after receiving the American Express Impact Award back in December.

“I think the album ALICIA — this is the first time I’ve had an album that I’ve chosen to name after myself,” she said. “I feel this is the first time I’ve been the most fully myself so yes, I think that sonic roller coaster attributes to the fact that there’s so many parts of me and so many parts of us that we’re learning, and I’m learning how to express [myself].”
